He is a British academic and public policy expert. He serves as Professor of Collective Intelligence, Public Policy, and Social Innovation at University College London (UCL). From 2011 to 2019, he was the CEO of the UK’s innovation foundation Nesta, leading projects on social innovation and digital transformation.
Education
In the field of educational technologies, Mulgan teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses at UCL on technology systems, artificial intelligence, and public policy. He also conducts research on collective intelligence, exploring how human and machine intelligence can work together.
